Michael Young, born in Sunderland in 1966, has been the most successful and influential designer of his generation since entering the design industry. In 1992, his early work, “Soft Knit Series,” was released as a collection of well-known public institutions including the Pompidou Center and the Louvre. Later, he designed furniture for the Japanese company E & Y series, but also by the Munich Museum and the Museum of London collection. From furniture, jewelery to bicycles and MP3s to Polo shirts and numerous interior designs, Michael Young interprets the boundless definition of transboundary with his talent.
