Wages, profits, prices and interest rates around the world are increasingly being influenced by China. “One year’s plan is like a tree of trees. The plan of ten years is as luxuriant as trees.” This ancient Chinese proverb reveals that the huge labor force in China entering the global economy may be the most significant change in 50 or 100 years.
