张广智先生主持编纂的六卷本《西方史学通史》,酝酿于“非典”肆虐的2003年之春,出版于2011年秋天,春华秋实,历时八年,终于成书,现已由复旦大学出版社全部出版。这六卷本《西方史学通史》的出版,开中国多卷本西方史学史编纂之先河,在中国的史学史研究历程中,尤其是我国西方史学史研究的历程中,意义重大,影响深远。对于这部内容宏富、史料丰赡的多卷本“通史”之作,学术界自会作出切中肯綮的评论,这自然需要假以时日。在这里,就我个人学识及视野所及,对它作一点简介,以及时传达相关资讯,便于读者了解。
Mr. Zhang Guangzhi presided over the compilation of six volumes of “History of Western History,” brewing in the “SARS ” raging in the spring of 2003, published in the autumn of 2011, Chunhua Qiushi, which lasted eight years, and finally book, now by Fudan University Press All published. The publication of the six volumes of “General History of Western Historiography” opened a precedent for the compiling of the multi-volume Western historiography in China. It is of great significance and profound influence in the history of Chinese history study, especially in the history of Western history studies in China. For the multi-volume “general history” with rich content and rich historical data, the academic community will make unanimous comments on its own accord, which naturally takes time. Here, as far as my personal knowledge and field of vision are concerned, make a brief introduction of it and convey the relevant information in time so that readers can understand it.
