花园处于自然环境和社会环境之间,可以在幼儿的学习中发挥多种作用,包括游戏和探索、“安全探险”、建立不同的人际关系、拓宽社会观等。环保人士所谈论的自然空间,是大自然中能够被进入的一部分,比如供人们徒步旅行的森林。而另一种自然空间——花园,则是被人类培育出的地方,并为社会服务。而且,它对于幼儿接触自然和社会的多样性大有裨益。花园可以在幼儿的学习中发挥多种作用,包括游戏和探索、“安全探险”、建立不同的人际关系、拓宽社会观等。
The garden is located between the natural environment and the social environment. It can play a variety of roles in young children’s learning, including games and exploration, “exploration of security”, establishment of different interpersonal relationships and broadening of social outlook. The natural space that environmentalists are talking about is a part of nature that can be accessed, such as forests for people to hike. Another natural space, the garden, is a place cultivated by human beings and serves the community. Moreover, it is of great benefit to the diversity of children exposed to nature and society. The garden can play a variety of roles in young children’s learning, including games and exploration, “safety expeditions”, building different relationships and broadening social perspectives.
