他在上岩教学点11年,教师、班主任、校长一肩挑,同时任三个年级七八门课,而且教得像模像样,各科成绩与全镇其他学校不相上下。过去,不少村民想方设法把孩子送到山外的学校。几年后,他们又纷纷将孩子们接回来,连一些随打工父母在外省读书的孩子也回来了。2008年,镇中心校准备将他调到离家近一点的学校,村民们得知后联名写了挽留书,并按下红手印,硬是把他留了下来。他说:“这里的村民对我实在太好了,太看重老师了,我怎么舍得离开呢!”

He said: “The villagers here are really good to me, too valued teachers, how I am willing to leave it!”
