2001年3月2日上午,全国妇联在人民大会堂召开全国城镇妇女“巾帼建功”活动十年表彰大会。会上,5位全国“巾帼建功”标兵、全国“巾帼文明示范岗”代表及不同战线的杰出代表发了言。中国科学院病毒研究所所长、全国“巾帼建功”标兵、中国科学院十大杰出妇女称号获得者胡志红同志作为科技界的唯一代表作了演讲。她的突出事迹,得到与会代表的高度赞誉。以下是胡志红同志演讲的部分内容。值此“三八”节之际,仅以此文献给科技界的妇女同胞。
On the morning of March 2, 2001, the All-China Women's Federation held a 10-year commendation ceremony for women in urban areas nationwide in the Great Hall of the People.
