1986年9月11日下午,赤峰市郊区人民政府宽敞明亮的礼堂内座无虚席。郊区先进集体暨劳动模范表彰大会正在这里进行。在热烈的掌声中,一位年轻人健步走上主席台,从区委书记宋万林手中接过了红色的“劳动模范”荣誉证书。这个年青人就是赤峰市郊区国营当铺地苗圃主任——刘振富。从临时工到苗圃主任 1970年12月,17岁的刘振富结束了他的学生生活,回村当了农民。第二年4月,他来到当铺地苗圃当了临时工。他怀着“干好,绝不落后”的朴素想法,一心扑在工作上。他起早贪黑,兢兢业业,专捡脏活累活干。起大粪是又脏又累的活计,别人不愿干,他干!人家一天起5000斤,他起5800斤;打墙抡石夯最累,没人愿上,他上!胃疼得利害,他也不吭一声,晚上熬药喝,白天照样干。他不知疲倦地干着,好象有使不完的劲。有人说:“一个临时工,给谁卖命呀?干得再多也不多挣一个子 On the afternoon of September 11, 1986, the auditorium in the spacious and bright light of the People’s Government of Chifeng Suburbs was packed.
