中国人寿是我国最大的商业保险集团,国内唯一一家资产过万亿的保险集团,连续8年入选《财富》全球500强企业,排名由2002年的290位跃升为2009年的118位;是中国资本市场最大的机构投资者之2010年1至9月,中国人寿重庆市分公司实现保费收入73.25亿元。截至目前,累计为全市1000余万人次提供了寿险保障,赔付和给付保险金超过30亿元,行业贡献率达40%以上,充分发挥了商业保险在健全社会保障体系中的重要作用,为新形势下进一步服务重庆经济社会发展积累了经验,奠定了基础,进一步增强了服务地方的综合实力,为服务库区发展和建设“五个重庆”做出新的更大贡献。
