已经观测到了沿活断层的土壤气体中有高的氢气量,并且讨论了这个量与断层活动的关系(H.Wakita et al.,1980)。然而直接联系应力与气体性质变化的证据却很少报导过。这种证据将能够为识别地震的地球化学前兆提供一个良好的基础。
A high amount of hydrogen in the soil gas along the active faults has been observed and the relationship between this amount and fault activity has been discussed (H. Wakita et al., 1980). However, there is little reported evidence of direct changes in stress and gas properties. This evidence will provide a good basis for identifying geochemical precursors for earthquakes.
