黄翅大白蚁(Macrotermes barneyi Light)是江南林木果树及水库土坝、江河堤塘的重要害虫之一。搞清蚁后的产卵规律对于了解其群体的发展趋势,制订相应的防治方案,甚为重要。

黄翅大白蚁(Macrotermes barneyi Light)是江南林木果树及水库土坝、江河堤塘的重要害虫之一。搞清蚁后的产卵规律对于了解其群体的发展趋势,制订相应的防治方案,甚为重要。但由于白蚁蚁后生活于隐蔽的蚁巢内,目前对它的产卵规律了解甚少。我们对黄翅大白蚁蚁后在自然环境中的产卵情况,进行了初步观察。现整理报道如下:
Macrotermes barneyi Light is one of the most important pests of the south-facing tree and reservoir earth dam and river embankment. To find out the law of oviposition of ants for understanding the development trend of their groups, to develop the appropriate prevention and treatment programs, is very important. However, since the termite queen lives in a hidden ant nest, little is known about its law of oviposition. We conducted a preliminary observation on the ovipositing situation of the yellow-winged termites in natural environment. Now finishing reports are as follows:
