Aging is the final stage of life experience. Aging is a social phenomenon and refers to the process in which the number of the elderly in the total population reaches a certain percentage and continues to grow. Internationally, the proportion of people over the age of 60 in the total population reaches 10% or the proportion of population over the age of 65 in the total population reaches 7% as the standard for entering a country or an aging society. According to the results of the sixth national census in 2010 in China, the number of elderly people aged 60 and over in the country reached 178 million, accounting for 13.26% of the total population, which indicates that China has entered an aging society.
