匈牙利学者梅茨勒主编的Acta comparationis litterarum universarum,1880年曾发表陈季同和芍兑(硕特)合作完成的一篇汉译诗。他们把裴多菲的《小树颤抖,因为》翻译为《动彼柔枝》,这是中国比较文学史上颇值一提之事,也是西方汉学史的一节有趣故事。本文细作考证,指出《汉语裴多菲》的作者不是陈季同,但陈季同是译诗《动彼柔枝》的重要参与者。德国柏林大学的芍兑(硕特)教授把裴多菲的名诗《小树颤抖,因为》用德语拼音的形式译成汉语,并请陈季同进行润色。陈季同在润色的时候加进了自己的一些理解,芍兑(硕特)甚至对此持保留态度。由此可知,在这首诗的翻译过程中陈季同在一定程度上是有自己独立意志的。
The Acta comparationis litterarum universarum, edited by the Hungarian scholar Metzler, published a Chinese translation poem by Chen Jitong and Shao Yu (Shuo Te) in 1880. They transplanted Petofi’s “trembling treble because of” as “moving the petty butterflies”, a rather interesting story in the history of Chinese comparative literature and a history of western sinology. This article makes a detailed research, pointing out that the author of “Chinese Petofi” is not Chen Jitong, but Chen Jitong is an important participant in the translation of the poem. Prof. Pei (University of Berlin, Germany) Prof. Petto Pei Fei’s famous poem “Trembling, because” in the form of German pinyin translated into Chinese, and asked Chen quarter to polish. Chen Jitong added some of their own understanding in the polishing time, Shao against (Shuo special) and even reservations about this. From this we can see that in the translation of this poem, Chen Jitong, to a certain extent, has his own independent will.
