明儒鄒守益《東廓鄒先生遺稿》,鄒善編1,萬曆年間初刊,且為黃虞稷《千頃堂書目》著錄,然自明迄清流傳甚少,清四庫館臣亦未見。清咸豐三年(1853),族人鄒恒於山東獲《遺稿》,命侄鄒鍾抄錄副本,寄回安福。同治年間,鄒鍾有合刻《東廓鄒先生文集》與《東廓鄒先生遺稿》之計劃,未成。光緒二十九年,族人鄒仁任捐貲重刻,次年完工,是為光緒三十年刊本。民國十四年,胡慶道任安福縣知事,自鄒鼎處見《遺稿》,重印以廣流傳,即光緒三十年刊民國十四年重印本。清末重刻本《遺稿》,諸序跋臆斷《遺稿》初刻於鄒善任官山東時,且題《遺稿》與宋儀望、周怡、邵廉諸人有關,誤,不能不辨。《遺稿》初刊,絕不在隆慶初年鄒善任山東提學副使時,而應在宋儀望、邵廉等隆慶六年刊《東廓鄒先生文集》十二卷後,且與周怡毫無關係。
