Objective To analyze and analyze the epidemiological characteristics of viral hepatitis complicated with diabetes. Methods The clinical data of 65 patients with viral hepatitis and diabetes treated in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2014 were analyzed retrospectively. Another 65 patients with simple diabetes mellitus and 65 patients with simple viral hepatitis were selected as the control. The basic data of three groups of patients were compared and the epidemiological characteristics of viral hepatitis complicated with diabetes were summarized. Results Compared with hepatitis and hepatitis group, hepatitis B virus infection was found in most of the two groups, of which 45 cases were hepatitis complicated with diabetes mellitus, accounting for 69.23% of the total, and 47 (72.31%) in the hepatitis group; In the diabetic group and the diabetic group, more than half of the patients had type II diabetes mellitus, 42 with hepatitis and 64.62% with hepatitis, and 44 (67.69%) with diabetes mellitus. Conclusions Hepatitis B patients are predisposed to type II diabetes. Therefore, hepatitis B patients should strengthen the monitoring of blood glucose, prevent and reduce the onset of diabetes.
