爱立信公司近日宣布:一项崭新的家用互联旧产品将于1998年初正式投放市场,这项产品是专门为同时需要数据/多煤体传输及不间断的优质电话服务的家庭用户而设置的。用户只需要一条普通的电话线,就能在使用电话的同时也享受不间断互联网或区域联网数据输送服务,数据传达速度为每秒115.2K;若电话正在使用中,速度也为70K。这项新产品把电信通信和数据通信两种高科技真正融合起来,它给家用互联网带来了全新的使用方法,有了这项新产品,供应商可以通过现有的铜质电话线,在同一技术平台上提供独立的线上数据通信和公众交换电话网络服务。这套全新爱立信家用互联网产品可应用于四个范围:频繁使用互联网的家庭;在家工作的公司雇员——即指受聘于某公司,而又可以部分时间花在家里的人;家庭办公室,包括遥控生产过程;远距离学习。
