本文对地震持续振动形成尾波的物理机制,在理论上进行了某些探讨。认为各震相尾部的形成,是地震波射线在壳内界面和地表自由面上发生的反射、多次反射、散射和反向散射的综合结果。同时,对辽宁省地震台网的持续时间震级,进行了多元回归统计归算。并对计算结果进行了检验和对比。初步认为:有关台站在发生限幅的情况下,可以参照本文的统计公式,对地震的震级作出估算。
In this paper, some theoretical discussions are made on the physical mechanism of the formation of coda waves caused by the sustained vibration of the earthquakes. It is considered that the formation of the tail of each seismic phase is a comprehensive result of reflection, multiple reflection, scattering and backscattering of seismic wave rays occurring at the in-shell interface and the free surface of the earth’s surface. In the meantime, the magnitude of the duration of the seismic network in Liaoning Province was calculated by multiple regression. The results of calculation are tested and compared. It is preliminarily considered that the magnitude of the earthquake may be estimated by referring to the statistical formula in this paper under the condition that the station is limited in amplitude.
