1966年前后,广济县人民采用抽槽整地方法营造了大面积杉木林,我们于1973年调查,绝大部份已成林,特别是Ⅰ、Ⅱ类土壤上生长较好.6.5-9.5年生的杉木林,平均胸径7.4-10.3厘米,平均树高5.4-7.6米,平均单株材积0.0116-0.0308立方米.每亩蓄积2.786-6.164立方米,小径材比例占65-87.3%,中径材比例占2.8-6.7%.但是,从整个杉木林的长势来看,仍有下降趋势,一些Ⅲ类土壤上管理较好的杉木林,达到小径材标准的还只有少数.另外,从调查根系发现,凡是抽槽整地的顺槽方向,由于
