Objective To investigate the relationship between hair trace elements and amenorrhea. Methods The contents of zinc, magnesium, calcium, copper, iron, cadmium and lead in the hair of 40 patients with amenorrhea in our clinic were analyzed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Compared with 40 normal women of the same period, the statistical analysis Using t test. Results The arsenic level in amenorrhea group was significantly lower than that in the control group, while the hair iron levels in patients with magnesium and 20 ~ 29 years old were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). Copper, cadmium, lead, calcium There was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). Conclusions We believe that amenorrhea and zinc content of the hair have a certain relationship, try to increase the zinc content may reduce the incidence of amenorrhea helpful, it is worth further study.
