北京体育大学对2003级学生进行英语水平测试,对测试结果作了认真的分析,并按照测试的成绩对学生实施分级教学。研究发现分级教学有利于调动学生的主动性和创造性,开阔学生的视野,便于他们相互比较,从而对英语学习更有信心,提高了学生的英语综合运用能力,掌握了自主学习的方法。同时对同一层次的学生授课有利于教师根据学生的自身水平组织教学,实现因材施教的教学原则,最大程度地提高课堂教学效率。最后,英语高班的学生能够成为整个专业学生英语学习的榜样,提高初级班和中级班学生学习英语的动力,从而全面促进英语教学。
Beijing University of Physical Education 2003 grade English proficiency test, the test results were carefully analyzed, and in accordance with the test results of the implementation of graded teaching students. The study found that the graded teaching is conducive to mobilizing students ’initiative and creativity, broaden their horizons and facilitate them to compare with each other so as to have more confidence in English learning, improve students’ ability to use English comprehensively, and grasp the method of autonomous learning. At the same time, lecturing students at the same level helps teachers to organize teaching according to their own level and realize the teaching principle of teaching students according to their aptitudes so as to maximize the efficiency of classroom teaching. Finally, English high school students can become a role model for English majors throughout the profession and enhance their motivation to learn English in both primary and intermediate levels, thus promoting English teaching in an all-round way.
