From August 8 to August 19, the first mobile phone service in the history of the Olympic Games attracted more than 1 million people. The number of hits was nearly 7 million and the total playing time was as long as 300,000 hours. This is only the statistics of China Mobile Net, the actual ratings certainly far beyond this figure. It is not surprising that the Beijing Olympic Games detonated mobile TV, but the biggest winner among them could be the CMMB mobile phone that was not even granted a network access license. The mobile phone TV which has been on the verge of fire has suddenly enjoyed the sudden emergence of China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB), and the enthusiastic response from the market has even given operators some surprise.
