由总参工程兵部主持召开的《坑道工程围岩分类及其在被覆设计中的应用》鉴定会,于1985年10月中旬在北京举行,到会的有大专院校和科研单位的专家、教授五十余人。代表们听取了课题组介绍,一致认为,为了开发和利用地下空间,地质、冶金、水利、煤炭、铁路、交通、商业、化工、石油、建筑、国防、人防等部门都很迫切需要有一套适合我国国情的围岩分类方法。
