苏联科学院远东研究所为纪念中华人民共和国成立40周年,于9月上旬在基辅召开大型学术讨论会,并邀请我和中国社会科学院近代史所的李玉贞同志参加,遗憾的是当我们到达时,学术讨论会已经开过,我们只有完成第二项任务——学术访问了。我们先后访问了苏联科学院远东研究所、苏联国防部军事历史研究所、马列主义研究院等研究机关,与有关专家、学者进行了座谈,苏联学者渴望与中国学者进行学术交流与合作的急切心情,以及他们在中共党史、中国革命史以及共产国际问题的研究方面取得的成果,给我留下了极其深刻的印象。
In order to mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and to hold a large-scale academic symposium in Kiev in early September, and invited by the Institute of Far East Studies of the Academy of Social Sciences to join Comrade Li Yuzhen in the recent history of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, it is regrettable that when we arrived, The seminar is open, and we have only completed the second task - an academic visit. We successively visited research institutes such as the Far East Institute of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Military History of the Soviet Union Ministry of Defense, and the Marxism-Leninism Research Institute, held discussions with relevant experts and scholars, eagerly aroused the eagerness of Soviet scholars to conduct academic exchanges and cooperation with Chinese scholars, As well as their achievements in the study of the history of the CPC, the history of Chinese revolutions and the issue of the Communist International, left a very deep impression on me.
