人们往往认为,学外语,只要到该语种的母语国家,在那种语言环境和氛围里学起来就不费力气,自然而然外语水平就有大幅度的提高,直至像当地人一样运用自如。因此,一些家长竭尽所能,将自己的孩子送到国外学习。其结果如何呢?请看一则消息:2010年9月1日的大连《新商报》报道:大连市的一男生小林,赴澳大利亚留学八年,花去300多万元人民币。回国后,父母设宴,并请来大连外国语学院的刘老师检验一下儿子的英语水平。一番口语交谈,书面测试后,刘老师如实相告:小林的英语水平只相当于大连的一个普通初中生的水平。这使得其父母大失所望,困惑不已!
