The seminar on “Railway Transport Enterprises Meeting the Deepening Reform of China’s Accession to the WTO” was held in Qingdao from August 30 to September 1, 2003. The conference was hosted by the Railway Transport Commission and hosted by the Railway Institute of Shandong Province. It was convened by Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Shaanxi, Gansu Railway Society and the Association of Science and Technology Association of Hailar Railway Branch Office. Jia Guoping, director of academic exchange office of China Railway Society Secretariat, director Chen Gong of Qingdao Railway Branch, and secretary-general of all the joint organizers attended the meeting. At the opening ceremony of the meeting, Deputy Director Shen Qingyan of China Railway Society Railway Transport Commission delivered an opening statement on behalf of all the co-operation units.
