记者生涯一九四六年二月末,我奉命到北平,等候马、张、周三人军事小组,在他们视察华北、东北时作随行记者。因另有同志已在北平办好随行登记手续,我在军调部住了一个星期,就与滕代远、陈士渠两位乘飞机返回重庆。一回到《新华日报》,就忙于工作接交和筹备去南京办报。我被指定为南京《新华日报》的主要负责人。四月中旬,我与中共代表团的前站人员龙飞虎同志等飞往南京,开始了紧张的最后却是徒劳的办报奔走。由南京到延安由于国民党拒绝发给南京《新华日报》出版登记证,我在一段时间里整天奔走于参政会邵力子、洪兰友先生和南京市长马超俊之门,毫无结果。随着时局的日趋恶化,我除了以“明石”、“怀南”的笔名为重庆《新华日报》和上海《群众》周刊撰
At the end of February 1946, I was ordered to Peiping and awaiting the arrival of the military team of Ma, Chang and Wed on their accompanying journalists when they visited the north and northeast regions. Since some other comrades have already done some registration in Peiping, I spent a week in the military transfer department and returned to Chongqing with Teng Daiyuan and Chen Shikuang by plane. Upon returning to Xinhua Daily, I was busy working to submit and prepare for Nanjing Daily News. I was designated as the principal person in charge of Nanjing Xinhua Daily. In mid-April, I flew to Nanjing with Comrade Long Feihu, a former station staff member of the CPC delegation, and started a tense last but futile run. From Nanjing to Yanan Because of the Kuomintang’s refusal to issue the registration certificate for the Xinhua Daily in Nanjing, I ran for a long period of time in the door to Shao Lizi, Mr. Hong Lanyou and Nanjing Mayor Jun Ma of the political commissar.
