概况法医学研究室包括法医临床学及法医病理学两个专业。法医临床学专业目前有专业人员10名,其中研究员1名、副主任法医师3名,主检法医师3名、主管技师2名、技师1名。没有性功能实验室、听力实验室、视力实验室、神经诱发电位及肌肉电图检测室、病理实验室等。 本室接受全国各地送检的复杂疑难案件的鉴定。既可接受委托单位邀请赴外地进行检验鉴定,又可接受各地送来的标本、检材、组织切片、照片、书证材料等进行检验鉴定。本室的鉴定工作以公正、准确、迅速而著称。
