一、提高认识,抓住机遇,增强做好农机化工作的责任感和紧迫感 党的十六大报告从全局和战略的高度,提出了新世纪全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标。刚刚结束的中央农村工作会议,提出了当前及今后一段时期新世纪农业和农村工作的目标任务和要着重抓好的4方面工作。全面建设小康社会,关键在农村,重点在农民,难点在农业。农业机械化是农业和农村工作的重要内容,在新的历史时期,肩负着新的历史使命,面临着新的发展机遇。
I. Raise Awareness, Seize the Opportunity, and Strengthen the Responsibility and Urgency to Do Agricultural Mechanization Work The report of the 16th CPC National Congress set the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way in the new century from the overall situation and strategic level. The just-concluded Central Rural Work Conference proposed the objectives and tasks of agricultural and rural work in the new century at present and for some time to come and the four aspects to be emphasized. The key to building an overall well-to-do society lies in the rural areas, with a focus on peasants and the difficulties in agriculture. Agricultural mechanization is an important part of agriculture and rural work. In the new historical period, it shoulders a new historical mission and faces new opportunities for development.
