由中国科学院近代物理研究所承担建设的“九五”国家重大科学工程项目——兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环工程(HIRFL-CSR),是兰州重离子加速器(HIRFL)的扩建工程。兰州重离子加速器冷却储存环(CSR)由主环(CSRm)和试验环(CSRe)构成,以现有的HIRFL作注入器,工程总投资2.935亿元,其中国债投资0.3亿元,建设周期五年,工程总经理是中国科学院近代物理研究所所长詹文龙研究员。
