Ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is a common complication of mechanical ventilation in current intensive care units. Infectious inflammation that occurs in the patient’s lungs usually occurs in critically ill patients within two days after mechanical ventilation or after stopping ventilation. Relevant data show that the incidence rate was 43.1%, the mortality rate as high as 51.6%. Due to the high mortality rate of VAP, it brings a serious threat to the lives of critically ill patients, arousing widespread attention in academic circles. In this study, 76 critically ill patients with mechanical ventilation were selected from our hospital from April 2012 to August 2013, Observation period down
