词汇是语言学习的基础,在语言交流中,词汇传递着信息,起着至关重要的作用,是整个语言学习的核心部分。因此,词汇学习一直受到英语学习者的高度重视。除了学生,英语教师也把英语的词汇教学作为英语教学的首要任务。然而,现在的英语教学主要是以传统模式来进行的,很多学生通过死记硬背来学习英语单词,使得词汇的学习枯燥无味。自从上世纪90年代以来,词汇的学习成为众多研究者的研究对象,大量的研究用来探索词汇学习的策略。如何让中国的学生更为有效地学习英语词汇,成为英语教师着力研究的课题对象,本文将探讨一些可以帮助非英语专业学生学习英语词汇的策略,目的是帮助学生更为有效地习得英语词汇,提高整个英语学习的水平。
Vocabulary is the foundation of language learning. Vocabulary communication plays a vital role in language exchange and is a core part of the whole language learning. Therefore, vocabulary learning has always been highly valued by English learners. In addition to students, English teachers also regard English vocabulary teaching as the primary task of English teaching. However, the current English teaching is mainly carried out in the traditional mode. Many students learn English words through rote learning, which makes the learning of the vocabulary dull. Since 90s of the last century, the study of vocabulary has become the research object of many researchers, and a great deal of research is used to explore the strategies of vocabulary learning. How to make Chinese students learn English vocabulary more effectively has become the focus of English teachers’ research.
