钱兴是一位坚定的无产阶级革命家,是怀集人民的好儿女。1909年6月23日,钱兴出生于今天的广东省怀集县诗洞镇凤南村。他担任过中山大学“中青”小组组长,1936年加入中国共产党,先后任中山大学党支部书记、中共福建省厦门市工委书记、中共广西省工委书记、中共粤桂湘边区工委副书记兼中国人民解放军粤桂湘边纵队副政委等职务。解放前夕,他为了中国人民的解放事业英勇献身,和无数先烈一起,用鲜血染红了五星红旗,迎来了祖国的黎明。今年是新中国、中国人民解放军粤桂湘边纵队成立60周年,也是钱兴诞辰100周年。本文记录了他的生平事迹点滴,以志纪念。
Qian Xing is a determined proletarian revolutionary and a good daughter who cherishes the people. On June 23, 1909, Qian Xing was born in today’s Fengnan Village, Huidi County, Huaiji County, Guangdong Province. He served as Sun Yat-sen “Green” group leader, joined the Communist Party of China in 1936, served successively as secretary of the Party branch of Sun Yat-sen University, CPC Fujian Provincial Committee of Xiamen City working party secretary of the Communist Party of China Guangxi Provincial Committee, CPC Guangdong and Guangxi Xiangbian Deputy secretary of the Working Committee and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, Guangdong and Hunan column deputy political commissar and other positions. On the eve of the liberation, he dedicated himself to the cause of liberation of the Chinese people. Together with countless martyrs, he dyed the red star with blood and ushered in the dawn of the motherland. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Liberation Army, the Central Military Commission of Guangdong and Guangxi and the Hunan Front, and the 100th anniversary of Qian Xing’s birth. This article records his life story, to commemorate.
