在花粉中除了人们所熟知的氨基酸、蛋白质、维生素、微量元素等营养成分外,还含有多种活性多肽、酶、多糖等。这些物质的含量虽少,但有极强的生理活性。我们将花粉用一定的方法破壳、提取和分离纯化后,发现花粉提取物在一定的浓度下有较强的免疫活性和抑菌活性。此外,我们与北京医科大学和昆明医学院合作,用花粉提取物作为动物饲料的添加剂,试验证明有一定增重作用;有提高动物抗缺氧的能力;有对温度变化的适应能力;有增强体质及一定的防病作用。

It has the ability of animating animals against hypoxia, adapting to temperature changes, and enhancing Constitution and a certain role in disease prevention.
