本文综述了当今电弧炉炼钢在世界发展的现状,提出了UHE(超高效率)电弧炉的三个显著特征并对其进行了讨论。作者指出,在UHE电炉发展过程中,氧始终扮演着十分重要的角色。

This article summarizes the present situation of EAF steelmaking in the world and presents three salient features of UHE EAF and discusses them. The author points out that oxygen plays a very important role in the development of UHE electric furnaces.
