本文记述的剑齿象—大熊猫动物群出土于高黎贡山东侧的山脚;怒江流域的西岸。行政管辖,隶属于保山县芸宽公社新华大队上芸岗生产队附近石炭纪灰岩的洞穴中。洞穴位于怒江边第四纪堆积物的后壁。距江岸约3公里;高出江水面约200米。洞口朝东。洞穴宽5米;深3米;高2米。穴呈圆形。洞内有裂隙和小洞。洞内堆积物为钙华胶结的砂、砾、粘土层。化石发现在钙华胶结的砂、砾石层中。地层层序、因被当地居民所破坏、已分辩不清。
This article describes the sword tooth image - Giant Panda fauna excavated in the Gaoligongshan foot of the mountain; the Nu River basin in the West Bank. The caves are located on the back wall of Quaternary deposits on the Nujiang River. About 3 km away from the river bank; about 200 meters above the water surface. East entrance hole. Cave 5 meters wide; 3 meters deep; 2 meters high. Hole is circular. Cracks and holes in the hole. The accumulation of holes for travertine cemented sand, gravel, clay layer. Fossils are found in the travertine cemented sand and gravel layers. Stratigraphic sequence, as destroyed by local residents, have been indistinguishable.
