陕西省话剧团是—支年青的话剧队伍.它的前身是陕西省文艺工作团.为适应我省话剧事业发展的需要,一九五七年六月改为陕西省话剧团.几年来,尤其是五八年大跃进以来,在党的总路线的光辉照耀下,在党的正确领导下,坚决贯彻了党的文艺为政治、为生产、为工农兵服务的方针,坚持了治政挂帅和思想战线上两条道路的斗争,因而使全团同志政治思想觉悟不断提高,发挥了敢想、敢说、敢做的共产主义风格,克服了重重困难,在很短的时间内,使我团的面貌焕然一新,使党的这支文艺队伍得到了迅速的发展和壮大.
