Beijing Olympic Games, let China stand in one fell swoop the center of the world stage, to show 30 years of progress and strength. 24 years ago, when Xu Haifeng won the Chinese first Olympic gold medal, the vicissitudes of Chinese society were linked to the Olympic Games. Looking back, we can sort out a clear context that reflects the imprint of the Chinese society. On July 13, 2001, when the four characters “China Won” shone on the TV screen, the joy of the entire country was filled with words of joy. In the past seven years, from the government to the civil society, many political and economic issues in China have taken the opportunity of growth and change with the goal of preparing for the Olympic Games. China is firmly moving toward opening up and into the world despite twists and turns.
