智能 LED 是一种性能优良的固态平板化显示器,其基本显示单元采用Ⅲ-Ⅴ族半导体材料 PN 结电致发光源,并具有相应的片内集成电路工作系统。因此,它工作电压低,使用寿命长,并适于在恶劣的环境下工作。智能 LED 大致上可划分为单片型,混合型及大屏幕显示三大类。一种采用半导体集成工艺及光电结合技术制作的混合型固体功能模块已在数显领域中得到了广泛的应用。新研制的智能四位数码字符显示器为实现多位智能化小型 LED 平板化显示提供了方便。该四位数码字符显示器中的每一位数符均由5×7LED 点阵组成,并具有片内集成电路工作系统。总的外形封装可允许使用者仅通过11根有效的互连线,使显示器端面级联,以形成具有均匀字符间隔的智能化多位数码字符显示系统。本文从平板化 LED 显示器件的综述着手,着重分析了 RGDS 2300智能 LED 5×7点阵显示器件的工作原理及其应用技术。
Smart LED is a kind of solid state flat panel display with excellent performance. Its basic display unit adopts PN junction electroluminescent source of group III-V semiconductor material and has the corresponding working system of on-chip integrated circuit. Therefore, it has low operating voltage, long service life and is suitable for working in harsh environments. Smart LED can be roughly divided into single-chip, hybrid and large-screen display three categories. A hybrid solid functional module fabricated by using semiconductor integrated technology and optoelectronic bonding technology has been widely used in the field of digital display. The newly developed smart four digital character display for the realization of a number of intelligent small LED flat panel display provides a convenient. The four-digit alphanumeric display consists of 5 × 7 LED dot matrixes and has an on-chip integrated circuit operating system. The overall outline package allows the user to cascade the display ends through just 11 effective interconnects to form an intelligent multi-digit numeric character display system with uniform character spacing. This article starts from the review of flat panel LED display device, and emphatically analyzes the working principle and application technology of RGDS 2300 intelligent LED 5 × 7 dot matrix display device.
