近几年来,歌剧这个艺术品种委实教人牵肠挂肚,它的景况一直不佳。这当中,歌剧新作品还是有的,数量也不能算少,从粉碎“四人帮”后出现的《星光啊,星光》、《贺龙之死》、《救救她》到《伤逝》,以及部队歌剧团体陆续出现的一些作品,象《壮丽的婚礼》、《琵琶行》、《大野芳菲》和《霜天红叶》等等,都说明了我们的歌剧工作者一直在辛勤劳动,不断探索。可是,这些成绩并没有能够改变歌剧的落后状况。而且每一部歌剧的产生,化的气力不小,但生命力却不怎么旺盛,演不了几场,就不得不退出舞台,以至渐渐被人遗忘。

After a few performances, it has to be withdrawn from the stage and gradually forgotten.
