Angiogenesis is an extremely important physiological process in the body. It involves not only tissue regeneration and wound healing, but also various pathological processes such as tumor growth and invasion. In 1972, American scholar Folkman first proposed that the growth of a tumor depends on the formation of blood vessels, and as such it causes the tumor to metastasize and grow indefinitely. MiRNAs are small, non-coding RNAs that act as molecular switches to regulate tumor angiogenesis. Studies have shown that miRNAs play an important role in endothelial cell biology and tumor angiogenesis. This review will address the role of miRNAs in tumor angiogenesis Role and treatment progress.
