我省淮河以南1958年陆续发展起来的苹果新区,面积约2万亩左右。目前除个别果园产量,质量较好之外,一般均不够理想。有的幼年苹果树生长旺而不结果;有的到了盛果期而不丰产。

我省淮河以南1958年陆续发展起来的苹果新区,面积约2万亩左右。目前除个别果园产量,质量较好之外,一般均不够理想。有的幼年苹果树生长旺而不结果;有的到了盛果期而不丰产。除本区高温多雨、地下水位偏高、病虫较多等原因外,修剪不当是一个重要原因。
In 1958, south of the Huaihe River in our province, Apple New Zone was gradually developed with an area of about 20,000 mu. At present, except for the output of individual orchards, the quality is better than others, which are generally unsatisfactory. Some young apple trees grow without result; some go into full fruit and not high yield. Except for the hot and rainy areas in this area, the high groundwater level and the high number of pests and diseases, the improper pruning is an important reason.
