《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010--2020年)》明确了今后十年学前教育的发展任务:“基本普及学前教育,重点发展农村学前教育。”农村学前教育是我国基础教育的重要组成部分,给所有孩子提供优质的学前教育已经或正在成为许多国家政府的共同使命。尽管当前我国农村学前教育面临教育资源供给能力不足;乡镇中心幼儿园办园条件简陋;教师工资待遇偏低及队伍不稳定等现实困境,但恰好赶上2010年以来国家加大对西部农村地区学前教育的资金投入和培训力度这一机遇,对实现农村学前教育优质特色发展提出了加大财政对农村学前教育投入,坚持科学保教;着力加强乡镇中心幼儿园建设;改善教师待遇,加强农村幼儿园教师队伍建设等对策。
