十年来福建省锰矿业在“九字”方针指引下,依靠科技进步,密切结合生产实践,在地质、采矿、选矿、锰矿探加工等方面,从科研到生产实际以及新技术推广、工艺创新等等,均取得了可喜成绩。十年来锰矿新增地质储量352万t;建立了6个山坡露天开采区,一个深凹露天开采区,矿石回采率可达95％以上,贫化率降至13％以下;建设了两座年处理3万t原矿石的选矿厂,不仅工艺流程完善,并且生产指标稳定;还建设了几座小铁合金厂。锰矿产品在产量、品种、质量均有很大提高,福建锰矿业的发展对全省经济的发展和社会效益作出了一定的贡献。
