The main factor that affects the economy of locomotive and vehicle maintenance measures is the degree of locomotive repair cost depending on the kilometer traveled. This article describes the possibility of using an overhaul process for repairing a wheel hub at the locomotive depot, thereby reducing the need for new tires in railway repair shops.
