常听人说:“中国书画的本质是笔墨”。我认为这种提法不准确,正确的表达应该是“中国书画基本功的本质是笔墨。”因为前一种提法只突出了笔墨在中国书画中的重要性,而忽视了语言在中国书画中的重要性。所以要强调笔墨的重要性,就应表达为后一种说法。既然笔墨在中国书画中占有重要的地位,那鉴赏书画就应从鉴赏书画中的笔墨开始,也就是说笔墨好的书画才具备好书画起码的条件。
Often hear people say: “The essence of Chinese painting and calligraphy ”. I think this formulation is inaccurate and the correct expression should be “The essence of basic Chinese painting and calligraphy is ink.” Because the former formulation only emphasized the importance of ink and brush in Chinese painting and calligraphy, The importance of painting.
