The authors selected 13 normal subjects as subjects, each with two trials, one in the afternoon, an empty stomach nine hours prior to each test, and then 25 grams of intravenous glucose injection at two intervals of one week. Results: The values of K (blood glucose declining rate) in each case were significantly lower in the afternoon than in the morning (P <0.001), and in the afternoon, the fasting blood glucose levels were also lower. There was no difference in the peak concentration of mean blood glucose curve between the two groups, but the decreasing rate reached the peak after the peak concentration.
