1965年12月15日至24日在四川省成都市召开了全国(南方协作区)松毛虫防治专业会议。出席会议的有林业部、中国科学院动物所、中南昆虫所、中国林业科学研究院、西南科委、四川省科委、四川省科协及其它19个省(市)的生产、科研和教学共53个单位的75名代表。会议期间,听取了中国科学院动物所蔡邦华副所长、刘崇乐教授和林科院昆虫室肯刚柔主任
December 19, 1965 to December 24 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province held a national (South cooperation area) Dendrolimus prevention and control professional meetings. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Forestry, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Central South Insect Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Forestry, Southwest Science and Technology Commission, Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Commission, Sichuan Association for Science and Technology and other 19 provinces (cities) 75 representatives of 53 units.
