As a theoretical guide to China’s reform and opening up and modernization, Deng Xiaoping’s economic thinking has its roots in the great practice of China’s reform and opening up as well as its modernization. It is also a theoretical reflection of the historical trend in the contemporary world. China and the world are the present soil of Deng Xiaoping’s economic thinking.
