五倍子是倍蚜虫寄生在盐肤木、红麸杨和青麸杨植物叶上形成的各种虫瘿的总称。五倍子是生产单宁酸、没食子酸、焦性没食子酸等的化工产品的原料,在医药、石油、冶炼、纺织、化工、食品、环保、军工等方面有着重要用途。五倍子主产于中国,日本、朝鲜等国也有生产,但年产量不足10吨。我国主产于贵州、四川、湖北、陕西、云南等省。建国前全国最高年产1万吨,建国后全国最高年收购量达6000吨以上,是我国传统的林产品之一。据调查,我国每年约需五倍子1.1万吨,其中
