刘袁庆1978年出生于景德镇,毕业于景德镇职业中专,自小酷爱绘画,出生于陶瓷绘画世家,高级工艺美术师。其作品题材广泛,功底扎实,技法全面,粉彩、青花、新彩绘画具有一定的造诣,山水、人物、走兽融为一体,不仅内容丰富,且有层次;既继承了中国的工笔画,又将国画笔墨精髓运用于陶瓷中创作陶瓷作品;不仅运用陶瓷综合工艺,又吸收西画特点,作品画面自然厚实、神韵流动,很有生气和感染力。
