大麦空壳(即小穗不实现象),对产量影响较大。通常在开花后四天即可观察到一些小穗颖壳开张不合,柱头外露,花药干缩,子房不正常地膨大,尔后逐渐萎缩,最后剩下一个空瘪的颖壳。空壳小穗常呈对称分布,以穗轴为中心成左右或上下对称,这和对称小穗同期发育同日开花有直接联系。我们自1974年以来,以“早熟三号”大麦为材料,对影响空壳率的有关因素进行了连续四年的观察,现报道如下:
Barley shell (ie, spikelet does not realize the phenomenon), a greater impact on the yield. Usually four days after flowering, some spikelets and husks are observed to be open, the stigma is exposed, the anthers shrink and the ovary abnormally dilates, and then gradually shrinks. Finally, an empty shriveled glume shell remains. The spikelets of the shell are often symmetrically distributed with the cob axis as the center of the symmetry, which is directly related to the development of symmetrical spikelets on the same day. Since 1974, we have conducted a continuous four-year observation on the factors that affect the percentage of shellheads using “Barley No. 3” barley. We have reported the following:
